Scope:

HVAC and Plumbing. The 14-story building features more than 400 rooms and suites. The mechanical and plumbing systems were comprised of a large mechanical room located on the lower level of the facility, 400 vertical fan coil units, roof top AHUs and ERUs and a complete drainage plumbing system.

Summary:

Grodsky installed the mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems as well as assisted in the development of the BIM 3D model for the building and mechanical systems. We were the BIM gatekeeper for the entire project.

Unique Features:

In addition to luxury accommodations, the hotel is also home to a retail space, a food & beverage area, a pool, a spa and a fitness center. An enclosed conditioned connector from the Sky Hotel lobby provides a comfortable and expeditious means of egress between a common check-in area/valet and the new Earth Tower itself.
