Summary:
As a Design Assist partner, Grodsky worked closely with the construction manager, engineer and architect to convert the existing Niagara Falls Convention Center into a hotel, restaurant, and gaming destination. Preconstruction services, demolition, design completion, extensive modifications to existing systems and installation of new systems were all performed on a fast-track schedule. The next phase at this location was the expansion of the casino to over 147,000 sf, additions of restaurants and retail space, and construction of a new 594-room high-rise hotel – all constructed using the same delivery methods and aggressive schedules.
