Summary:
A $450M, 12-story building that replaced a number of existing facilities, some of which dated back to the early 1900s. The building includes 180 patient rooms, heart and vascular specialization, emergency department, intensive care unit, and surgical suites. Project was completely coordinated using BIM drafting and clash detection procedures. This allowed maximum offset fabrication using LEAN building procedures. The end result was a project that meets the medical challenges of the 21st century.
