Summary:

The project consists of remodeled areas on the 4^th, 8^th, 10^th and 11^th floor of the Children’s Hospital building. Work includes new plumbing and mechanical services, including new medical gas headwalls and fixtures. With the new configuration it requires all new mechanical systems feeding the space with the latest in air cleansing equipment.  All work has been coordinated using BIM 3-D coordination with a focus on offsite fabrication utilizing Green & LEAN job methods. The 4^th floor will supply the new Maternal Special Care Unit (12 beds) and support space / on-call area. The 8^th floor will have a 36-bed Postpartum Unit and Nursery. The 10^th floor will include a new NNICU and Couplet / Flex Unit. The 11^th floor will include a new 36-Bed NNICU unit.
