Summary:

Grodsky’s Design Build team recently partnered up with JM Coull, Inc to construct Whitinsville Christian School’s new 33,000sf fine arts center and gymnasium.  The campus is located in Central Massachusetts and has over 600 students and sits on 40 acres.  This was a three phase project that commenced in the summer of 2016 and was completed in the summer of 2017. The main project scope for Grodsky included the design and installation of the HVAC Systems serving the new 450 seat theater and the New Gymnasium capable of seating 1500 people, and an enclosed connector bridge between the two buildings.  This design was accomplished with an 11,000cfm gas-fired DX RTU with Energy Recovery Wheel for the theater and a 13,500cfm DX RTU with Energy Recover wheel for the Gym. Additionally we also installed new RTU’S serving the Lobby, corridors, fitness rooms and locker rooms. This project was recently awarded the 2017 ABC Massachusetts Chapter Excellence in Construction.
