Scope:

HVAC, switching existing steam condensate units to a self-contained heating system including new piping modifications, 13 air handling units, 10 pumps, 5 expansion tanks, and 3 heat exchangers.  3” Hot water supply and return piping was installed through 4 occupied floors from the penthouse to the mechanical space.

Summary:

Grodsky was responsible for demo/removal of existing and installation of 13 new custom made air handling units throughout penthouses and mechanical spaces on the Cigna Bloomfield campus.

Unique Features:

This project required multiple shutdowns and continuous communication and coordination with the owner/GC to make the transitions and start up from existing units to new units a smooth process.
