Summary:
Grodsky was the prime mechanical contractor on both the convention center and the central plant. The central plant produces 3,200 tons of cooling from its one steam absorption and 2 centrifugal chillers while heating is provided by its two 600 hp and one 400 hp duel fuel steam boilers. Preconstruction planning and CAD detailing allowed us to fabricate 80% of the central plant piping offsite, helping the team to maintain the aggressive construction schedule.
Unique Features:
Largest meeting facility between New York and Boston.
